Who Is Eligible?
Only the license holder can request a physical Kuwait driving license. You must appear in person at the traffic department. No representatives or authorisations are accepted.
Where to Apply?
Go to the traffic department in the same governorate where your original license was issued. For example, if you got your license in Hawally, you must return to the Hawally traffic department, even if you now live elsewhere.

To apply for a physical Kuwait driving license, bring the following:
- A copy of your Kuwait Civil ID
- A copy of your digital driving license (from the Kuwait Mobile ID app)
- Your previous physical license (if available)
